Shadowy Mountains
   The bulwark of Hithlum.
   A name for and translation of Ered Wethrin, the mountain chain that walled Dor-lómin, Mithrim and Hithlum to the north of Beleriand. They are more commonly referred to as the Mountains of Shadow.
